About this role: As Commercial Analyst for New Zealand, you will business partner with our NZ Primary Processing plant, manage reporting across primary processing and provide insightful analysis to the Operations leadership team.
Additionally, you will support continuous improvement initiatives to bring process efficiencies and cost savings.
This position is based in North Ryde, NSW and will suit someone from a manufacturing background.
Key responsibilities: Perform weekly close and processing of results for NZ Primary Processing plantAnalyse weekly performance and provide commentary and insights into operational performance to NZ Site Manager (actual vs budget and forecast)Conduct in-depth analysis of production costs and cost variance to support the NZ site to identify opportunities of potential savings and cost reductionsMonitor and keep track of continuous improvement savings and support continuous improvement initiatives to bring process efficienciesWork with NZ Site Manager to develop annual budget and quarterly forecastReview products BOMs (Bill of Materials) to ensure accuracy of standardsComplete balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of financial recordsAssist in preparation of Capex for site proposals and perform post implementation reviewsUndertake ad hoc reporting and provide financial support to relevant projects within the Primary Processing and By-products functions as requiredKey requirements: Professional qualification gained or working towards – CA or CPAMinimum 3-5 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment is essentialStrong business partnering skillsAn analytical and critical thinker with experience working with large volumes of dataA highly motivated self-starter who takes ownership and looks to add valueStrong communication, interpersonal, analytical and technology skillsAbility to work in a fast paced and complex FMCG environmentAbility to meet tight deadlinesAdvanced Excel skillsWe're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us; people who want to contribute their best work every single day and continue delivering deliciously good food that's…Always Good
