Chief People Officer (Relocate to Adelaide)An exceptional opportunity to join Tiimely, a scaling fintech company powering Australia's most innovative credit experiences.
Headquartered in Adelaide with a growing workforce of around 130 employees, this role reports directly to the CEO and Founder, positioning you as a member of the leadership team.
As the Chief People Officer, you'll help drive the culture, performance, and success of Tiimely, elevating our people strategy as we scale.
We're seeking a strategic, courageous, and commercially astute leader to enhance employee performance and engagement, while shaping workforce models that embrace innovation and technology.
At the same time, you'll nurture and evolve the vibrant, values-based culture we've built over eight years in the market—one that celebrates collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.
In this pivotal role, you'll influence Tiimely's commercial and strategic potential, leading our people agenda.

Key Responsibilities Strategic leadership: Develop and execute a future-focused people strategy to scale Tiimely efficiently and support our mission of delivering seamless, AI-driven credit experiences.Employee engagement and accountability: Drive engagement and performance through innovative programs that empower our people.Leadership Team collaboration: Partner closely with the executive leadership team to elevate leadership capabilities.Organisational development: Lead initiatives that build leadership capabilities and enhance employee growth.Operational excellence: Build scalable workforce models that embrace tech-enabled operations.Compliance and risk management: Oversee all aspects of compliance related to employee relations, work health and safety, wellbeing, governance, remuneration, and payroll.Talent Acquisition oversight: Provide leadership and support to the Talent Acquisition Manager to attract and retain top-tier talent.Board-Level influence: Shape the conversation at the highest level and present insightful people strategies to the Board.Culture and Purpose Champion: Advocate for and embody our company values.Who we are looking for You don't need a CPO title on your resume, but very senior and broad People and Culture leadership experience is a must.
Extensive experience in people and performance / culture, with a strong background in leadership roles within scaling organisations.Proven ability to develop and execute strategic people plans that drive business results.Experience with innovative workforce models and the ability to scale teams effectively.Exceptional communication skills, with experience preparing and presenting to executive leadership teams and boards.Strong leadership presence and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.In-depth knowledge of people compliance, employee relations, payroll, WHS and risk and compliance management.Proven experience in developing and implementing contemporary and strategic remuneration frameworks.Data-driven mindset with a track record of improving key people metrics.Ability to maintain a balance between strategic oversight and hands-on execution.Why Join Us?
