Job Description Form a critical part of the headspace Senior Leadership teamPart-time (0.8 FTE) ongoing position, working Monday to Thursday$51 to $66 per hour (dependent on skills and qualifications) + super + salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550Are you passionate about making a difference in the mental health landscape for young people?
Join us at headspace Port Macquarie, where we are seeking a dynamic and dedicated leader to drive the provision of clinically high-quality mental health care for individuals aged 12-25 years.
In this pivotal role, you will not only provide clinical supervision and support to our skilled clinical staff, but also offer expert guidance on clinical service issues, ensuring that our young clients receive the best possible care.
You will play an essential part in shaping the future of our services through involvement in program development, design, and evaluation, all while collaborating closely with the headspace Services Manager.
As a strategic leader, you will oversee and mentor senior clinicians, GP Clinic staff, and allied health practitioners, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in mental health support.

This position is based in Port Macquarie, on the traditional lands of the Birpai People (Birpai Nation).

Your skills and background include:
Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant health field and AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the association in your fieldAt least 5 years of senior clinical experience, with advanced skills in mental health screening and risk assessmentProven ability to lead and supervise clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environmentStrong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and the ability to develop and implement effective clinical processesExperience working with diverse young populations, including CALD, Indigenous, and LGBTIQA communitiesYour exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients, families, and other service providers, ensuring the delivery of integrated and high-quality care.
