The Role:
FourQuarters are delighted to be engaged with a leading and highly reputable utilities company based in Melbourne CBD.
They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis which will have the opportunity to transition to a permanent role.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the financial decision-making process and driving business performance across various departments within the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to leverage their skills and work closely with senior leadership teams to deliver insights and financial expertise that align with the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with key business stakeholders to provide financial analysis and strategic support.
Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Analyse business performance and deliver actionable insights to help improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Evaluate investment opportunities and support business case development.
Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
Present financial results and key performance indicators to senior management.
Ensure financial controls and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Contribute to the development of financial strategies that align with company objectives.
About You:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional with strong business acumen and the ability to build relationships across the organisation.
You will have:
CA/CPA qualification Strong experience in a similar finance business partnering or commercial finance role, ideally within a utilities or infrastructure-related industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
The ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day financial activities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
