Saab Project Support Officer

Working within our Naval Combat Systems (NCS) division, the Project Support Officer will provide project administration and project management support to one or more NCS projects.
Further, the successful candidate will:

Track and report progress and performance of one or more projects
Coordinate project meetings and telephone conferences as requested, including travel where applicable
Produce minutes and action logs for meetings
Prepare professional presentations and develop and maintain document templates
Streamline and automate manual administrative processes and procedures associated with projects
Provide administrative support for the development of business cases, project plans and audit reports.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home/office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role.
About you Your skills and experience will include:

2+ years of administrative experience in a project environment (essential)
Strong planning, analysis, organisation, and communication skills
General understanding of project life cycles, project documentation, project standards, and methodologies
Working to strict deadlines while managing various demands
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and use initiative
Experience working in the defence industry (preferable)
Awareness of earned value management principles (desirable).
Applicants will be required to hold an Australian defence security clearance to the NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
