Saab's products are sold to over 100 countries and we currently operate in over 30 countries.Working within our Naval Combat Systems (NCS) division, the Project Support Officer will provide project administration and project management support to one or more NCS projects.Further, the successful candidate will:Track and report progress and performance of one or more projectsCoordinate project meetings and telephone conferences as requested, including travel where applicableProduce minutes and action logs for meetingsPrepare professional presentations and develop and maintain document templatesStreamline and automate manual administrative processes and procedures associated with projectsProvide administrative support for the development of business cases, project plans, and audit reports.Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role.About youYour skills and experience will include:2+ years of administrative experience in a project environment (essential)Strong planning, analysis, organisation, and communication skillsGeneral understanding of project life cycles, project documentation, project standards, and methodologiesAbility to work to strict deadlines while managing various demandsStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritise and use initiativeExperience in the defence industry (preferable)Awareness of earned value management principles (desirable).Applicants will be required to hold an Australian defence security clearance to the NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.About usSaab Australia is a defence, security, and cyber solutions provider, specializing in the development and integration of major defence and security systems.
