Part Time for experienced administrators or Full-time Junior position.
YBWA has an exciting opportunity for an organised, professional and caring Administrator
This rewarding fulltime position is integral to the success of the YBWA's organisation.
The successful applicant will be working closely with staff, students, and management.
Youth Ballet WA is a not-for-profit charitable organisation providing an elite ballet program with an emphasis on career-based training in classical ballet.
With professional staff that have extensive experience in all aspects of dance, we offer our students the best of dance education.
We are a talent-led organisation accepting only those young students showing great aptitude for dance and a passion to embrace it as a career.
We ensure that students receive individual tuition to meet their specific level and ability and are nurtured through-out their experience with YBWA.

POSITION: The purpose of this role is to provide a professional level of administration support in an environment of competing priorities and constant adjustment.
The Administration Officer is responsible for the provision of administration and management support for Youth Ballet WA (YBWA).
This is a key role and includes acting as a primary point of communication between staff, students and families, as well as managing YBWA studios.
The role is from Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Experienced administration staff could have the opportunity to work part time.
eg 6 hour day, 8am - 2.30pm.
YBWA is a dynamic community with a proud history of educating young dancers.
The successful applicant will have:
Preferred but not necessary, 12 months experience working in a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with Canva, Trybooking, Excel and formulas, merging.
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written and excellent interpersonal skills.
Prioritisation and time management skills, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to take on additional tasks.
Attention to detail and the ability to analyse and solve problems.
The ability to work independently.
Interest in the Arts/dance and basic understanding of the relevant industry knowledge is preferable.
Flexibility with hours, when necessary, to cater for our performances 3 times a year.
Ability and willingness to uphold and role-model the YBWA core shared values of Excellence, Inclusion and Wellbeing.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of a team, fostering and promoting positive personal relationships with students and staff.
Experience or an interest in working with students and staff in a school environment.
Commitment to providing students and teachers with a safe, supportive and respectful learning environment.
Quality reporting skills and identification of continuous improvement.
A current Working with Children' check (WWC) and/or National Police Clearance or the ability to obtain.
Preferred First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one at own cost initially.

Flexible days to work from home during the first week of each school holiday period and dance free weeks (Mid term, each term)
