Position DetailsFinance OfficerAranmore Catholic Primary School seeks a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Officer to commence on or before 3 February 2025 (can be negotiated).
This is a Level 5 Step 6 Administration and Technical Officer role.The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and have the ability to provide the appropriate expertise in bookkeeping, providing assistance to the Principal whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school.Selection Criteria A strong commitment to Catholic EducationExtensive experience in bookkeepingExperience in financial procedures including accounts receivable, accounts payable, preparation of Business Activity Statements, and general ledger processingSound knowledge and demonstrated ability of relevant accrual accounting practicesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAdvanced computer skills and knowledge including experience in financial programs, Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet ApplicationsOther attributes required:Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time effectivelyAbility to prioritise workFriendly and approachable mannerAbility to work as part of a team whilst still accepting responsibility for your own tasksQualifications RequiredRelevant Accounting, Business or a related field would be an advantageExperience in a school environment and AsS 365 Dynamics would be an advantage, but not essentialCatholic Education Western Australia encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with a disability, people of all ages and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
