Associate Nurse Manager - ICU Fixed term part-time position
Cabrini Malvern
The RoleWe are looking for an exceptional Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our leadership team, reporting to the Nurse Manager to work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Cabrini Malvern.
Cabrini's ICU Department consists of a 16-bed unit and offers a full range of Level 3 adult intensive care services catering for in-patients, emergency admissions and transfers from other facilities.
Our ICU Department is staffed and equipped to manage patients post-cardiac and other major surgery, respiratory failure, complex neurological/neurosurgical problems, sepsis, renal failure and multiple organ failure.
This is a long service leave cover position until August 2025.
Key ResponsibilitiesProviding flexible and highly responsive service to patients and consumers.Utilising clinical knowledge, experience and skills to provide leadership and operational direction.Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of patient care.Ensuring hospital policies, procedures and protocols are implemented and monitored.Holding accountability for the ward when the Nurse Manager is not present.About YouAlong with your passion for delivering a high standard of nursing care and an interest in further developing your skills, you will also have:
Key CapabilitiesCritical Care certificate (in Intensive Care Nursing) essentialPrevious nursing management experience (desirable)Experience as a Critical Care Registered NurseCommitment to ongoing personal development and educationCommitment in the development and education of junior team membersEnthusiasm for participation in a team environmentCommitment to quality patient care and outcomesExcellent customer service focus and communication skillsAbility to work within the Mission and Values of the organisationYou will also hold current:
