The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly experienced Executive Japanese Chef to take on a key leadership role overlooking Crown's premium Japanese Restaurants such as internationally recognised luxury brand – NOBU.
In this hands-on role, your creativity and passion will be channelled into ensuring the effective communication and implementation of the established F&B and Crown strategy within our premium Japanese outlets.
Reporting to the Executive Chef Crown Melbourne, your modern approach to team engagement, combined with your culinary knowledge and finesse, will support our BOH teams to deliver memorable dining experiences.
In this role, you'll create joyful dining experiences through your genuine care for guests.
As well as:
Lead your management team to ensure BOH operations, operating procedures and service standards are maintained/followedSupervise day-to-day of outlets to ensure they operate within the set parameters whilst liaising with a wide range of stakeholders including Nobu corporate/senior level managementContinually look for innovative opportunities to enhance our food offerings to stay on trend and at the very forefront of the industry whilst preserving the authenticity of our brandsEnsure outlets are financially viable in line with budgets and price strategyProvide exceptional leadership through the implementation of a strong training & development cultureAbout you Extensive Japanese culinary knowledge as well as senior experience within premium resorts and/or restaurantsA genuine passion for modern menu design as well as respect for authentic cuisine with an unwavering focus on delivering exceptional guest experiencesA hands-on leader who has the ability to influence a positive workplace cultureHigh level of business acumen as well as excellent understanding of financials and food & labour costsIs adaptable in high pressure situations and open to change if the business requiresExcellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with guests and stakeholders at all levelsWhat we offer you High annual salary plus bonus incentive based on performance goalsThe opportunity to elevate your career in managing our signature brandsFree staff meals, free laundered uniforms daily, discounts across restaurants & hotelsAdditional InformationApplications Close: Sunday 27th October 2024
