An Associate Dentist position is available at Brisbane Smiles in Toowong for a Dentist looking to deliver great dental experiences in a supportive environment. The Brisbane Smiles facility is unmatched in Brisbane with twelve treatment rooms, an established hygiene department, and a private, onsite dental laboratory to give support and technical excellence.
Brisbane Smiles is privately-owned and is 100% focused on patient care and the patient experience. The practice operates independent of health funds, and Dentists provide the best care and advice for patients.
Along with General Dentistry, Brisbane Smiles delivers high-quality cosmetic, prosthodontic, and implant care. Associate Dentists will be able to bring and develop skillsets in these various dental fields.
You will be supported by a team of patient consultants and treatment coordinators with checkout rooms for patient presentations, consent, and scheduling.
Brisbane Smiles has an established Hygiene Department for over 20 years. Patients attend routine hygiene appointments with the Dental Hygienist/OHT, and the Dentist attends for the Examination. This focuses our Dentists on diagnosis, establishing a treatment plan and urgency during these visits.
New Patient pathways through Comprehensive Exams or through Consultations have a well-developed program for both high-flow and efficiency to deliver consistency and high levels of patient treatment acceptance.
Brisbane Smiles treatment rooms are equipped with the best modern equipment and so much more (CBCT/OPG, 3Shape Trios 3, Electric Handpieces, IV Sedation Facility, Surgical Motors, Laboratory with Mills, 3D Printers, Furnaces, 3Shape Lab software, and Scanners all run by our Dental Technicians).
The onsite Dental Laboratory is teamed with five experienced and Qualified Dental Technicians equipped to design and make fixed and removable dental prosthesis, specializing in Porcelain Emax and Zirconia Restorations, but also creating smile designs, wax-ups, trays, mouthguards, occlusal splints, and dentures. Workflows are both conventional impression and model-based and digital.

Patient Treatment Hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 5:30pm (Friday 4:30pm), and days are negotiable with most associate dentists working a maximum of 4 days per week performing 35-38 hours. We do require full days to be worked; however, the number of days is negotiable.
