The role reports to the Trade Store Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our high performing trade store in Burleigh Heads, QLD.The successful candidate be responsible for providing exceptional customer service throughout the daily operations at the Service Centre in accordance with the Company's strategic plans, operating budgets, procedures, and policies. Ensuring responsibilities are completed on time and correctlyIt is critical to understand the importance of complying with Workplace Health & Safety Standards and follow protocol. Be passionate about learning new skills for career development opportunities. The role involves all aspects of working with customers to deliver customer specific tactical solutions promotions and in-store activations. Females are highly encouraged to applyResponsibilities: Receipting, unloading, storing and designating stock items Ensuring customer orders are picked and packed with high accuracy Maintaining accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities Regularly check & create orders Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone Carrying out quality control checks on picked items including counting and recording finished goods stock figures Submitting all documents that are related to the outgoing of goods Maintain physical condition of warehouse including keeping work areas clean & tidy Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures Undertaking stock take activities including daily variance checks and end of period stock take Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis General warehouse duties & house keeping Must have: Excellent customer service skills and responsibilities Good communication skills (Written & Verbal) Good phone skills and ability to multi task Team player, attention to detail, time management and organization skills Enjoys working in a team environment Microsoft Office skills to complete operational tasks Picking, packing and dispatching experience would be good Identifies development opportunities for self and team A current forklift license is advantageous or willing to obtain On offer: Excellent Hourly rate Full-Time permanent position Free Parking On-Site Yearly pay review High organic internal growth promoted within 14-week Parental Leave (Primary Carer) Great work-life balance Please note, applicants must have entitlements to work in Australia, as part of the recruitment process, police and medical checks for security clearance pertaining to specific job requirements will be conducted for successful applicants.
