Encore are a global event technologies company that specialises in hybrid and in-person events that connect and inspire.At Encore we believe in creating memorable event experiences that engage and transform organisations by serving as an invaluable partner on our customers' journey to success.If you're ready to be part of a team that's shaping the future of events and make a meaningful impact, apply now and let's transform events together.The OpportunityThe Strategic Partnership Manager ANZPAC is responsible for developing, contracting, and managing profitable, long term supply relationships with major hotels, venues and other partners across Encore's existing markets while concurrently responsible for growing Encore's footprint in existing, proximity and new markets across the region.This role will mitigate individual hotel losses due to competitors, national agreements or self-operated models, thus protecting our existing partnerships while continuing to grow the ANZPAC market with a strong focus on Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, lead and manage the strategic focus and commercial results of venue partnershipsIdentify, research and action profitable contracting opportunities for new accounts across Encore existing markets and new potentials over the next 3 to 5 yearsSupport APAC to align venues within Regional and Global MSAWork with local wider team to develop new, and expand current partner relationships in each regionTake the lead in expanding our venue portfolio of venues and contracting new accountsManage business proposals, RFS and tender process to point of sign offAssist in positioning Encore as a leading provider of worldwide event servicesAttend most relevant trade shows, forums and industry events to promote Encore's global reputation and build awareness of the Encore brand within the marketDevelop and manage client retention and contract renewal in collaboration with Strategic Partnerships Manager – Tenders and renewalsExplore all opportunities to move non-contracted relationships to an exclusive or preferred supplier arrangementsWhat We Are Looking ForAn experienced Business Development Leader who can use their existing relationships across their network to foster and build new connectionsProven experience in leading, negotiating and closing Multi-year, Multi million commercially valued agreementsProven experience in managing the integrity of offers, bid documents and tendersStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to travel as necessary to meet client and team needsStrategic thinking and creative problem-solving skillsWhat We Can Offer YouBe a part of our mission to bring people together, facilitate ideas and build relationships for our customers and enjoy all the perks that we offer:Diversity, equity, and inclusion programs that foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace for allWellness initiatives to prioritise your physical and mental well-beingAmple opportunities for career progression and professional growthCommitment to sustainability initiatives, contributing to a greener futureSalary packaging optionsAt Encore, we value our people as our most valuable asset.
