About this job... As a Project Electrical Engineer , you will assist in providing turnkey project solutions for high voltage infrastructure.
Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will support the team to coordinate, lead, and manage staff and contractors, plant, and equipment to deliver our project outcomes.
Our office and workshop is based in Mackay QLD ; however, project sites are varied around the Bowen Basin , and if successful, you may be required to work away from home from time to time.
Attractive living away from home remuneration will be offered.
Key responsibilities include: Managing and coordinating employees and subcontractors Understanding project scope and deliverables, arranging all resources, materials, and plant to achieve outcomes Maintaining planned work schedules Maintaining key customer relationships through regular communication and reporting, relating to progress of works on site Monthly project reporting Managing and monitoring design activities Developing, implementing, and monitoring QA activities Ensuring site WHS systems and compliance Previous Project Engineering or Project Management experience An electrical trade or electrical engineering background Self-motivation and always striving for excellence Exceptional communication skills Strong time management and organisational skills Mining and/or heavy industry experience We can offer you
