PBE Rutherford Mining provides world class electrical and communications systems products and services to the mining, tunnelling, resources, energy and infrastructure sectors throughout the world.
Our goal is to provide turnkey electrical project solutions for our customers that are of high standard, delivered on time and to the customer's satisfaction.
Our Mackay Branch is the market leader in our field supplying and repairing electrical mining cables.
With multiple sites throughout Australia, we are well respected within the industry.

An opportunity is available for a Business Development Manager with a strong focus on developing relationships with industry partners and working with them on business growth opportunities.
The role will have a strong focus on achieving growth within equipment hire and sales and providing overhaul and new build work to our workshop.
Our offices and workshop are based in Mackay QLD however this role will require someone that is able to travel nationally as part of this role.
The BDM will be responsible for:
Promoting and selling PBE products & services Strategic asset sales Establishing new customer accounts Managing existing customer relationships Continually developing and maintaining strong business and customer relationships Developing quotes and tender submissions Maintaining awareness of asset availability and workshop capacity for work Seeking out opportunities to increase PBE's market share Mining and/or heavy industry experience Demonstrated business development and commercial experience Ability to work and achieve revenue targets in a strategic manner Previous management experience at a senior level Exceptional communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal Strong focus on building annual growth for the company Electrical Trade or Engineering qualifications preferred If you are someone with sales skills, relationship building experience, communication skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen we would encourage you to apply for this role and see what PBE can offer you.
