An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Head Chef with a love for Mediterranean cuisine to lead our new team at the Roslyn Packer Theatre.
Oversee all kitchen operations while serving a Mediterranean-inspired seasonal menu, offering guests a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced environment.
You will also prepare dishes for a variety of functions and events at the venue.
BENEFITS Opportunity to work with a premium brand in the hospitality industryVenue just a 7 minute walk from Barangaroo Metro StationWork-life balance with manageable hours and a supportive team environmentSupport from the head office and group executive chef to help you thrive in your roleOpportunity for career progression within a large and expanding hospitality groupAnnual salary at $105,000 plus superTHE ROLE Lead a team of 3 to 4 chefs per serviceWork closely with the Executive Chef in the development of new menus and productionMostly evenings, with lunch services on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 38 hours per weekOversee and manage all kitchen activities, including lunch, dinner, and event servicesEfficiently manage food and labour costs, budgeting, and forecastingEnsure adherence to food safety and health regulationsContribute to the development of future menus, combining creativity and passion for Mediterranean cuisineABOUT YOU Strong background in Mediterranean cuisineIdeally, experience from well-known establishments3+ years of experience as a Head Chef in high-end a la carte restaurants and hotels or even cateringPassionate about cooking and thriving in a high-energy environmentProven ability to lead by example, creating an organized, creative, and high-performance teamQualified Food Safety SupervisorABOUT US The Fresh Collective is a Sydney based hospitality group operating leading iconic art venues in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, including the Art Gallery NSW, Sydney Theatre Company, Queensland Museum, Melbourne Theatre Company and Museums Victoria.
