The Opportunity We are looking for a Workplace Manager to join our Sydney office on a 6-month fixed-term contract in a busy and pivotal role to develop and implement established business processes and procedures, alongside supporting the lawyers.
This role will also work with central support teams on core policies and practices such as Environmental Management, Business Continuity, Travel, Health and Safety and space standards, and providing training and development to staff on Firm's best practices to ensure sufficient ongoing support is provided and maintained to the business.
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating property and facilities related projects including refurbishment, moves and space planning, contractor management and localised building regulations.
As Workplace Manager, Australia, you will be the most senior member in the Facilities team, and so responsible for overseeing our Office Coordinators and Client Services Assistants across our three offices.
The Candidate At least 8 years management level (or equivalent) experience in a similar role, including team management responsibilities.H&S qualification.Project management.Change management.Procurement and commercial management.Experience of working within a top tier corporate or professional services organisation.Excellent IT literacy to include all MS Office packages, Condeco or similar hospitality management system.Strong collaborative approach and not afraid to challenge assumptions.Resilient and thrives under pressure.About Pinsent Masons Pinsent Masons is one of the world's leading law firms, with a rapidly growing presence in Australia built on a reputation for outstanding work for clients and genuine care for its people.
