Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to play a critical role in their finance team.
This full-time, office-based position offers a broad range of responsibilities within an exciting finance team.
The role will be integral in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting decision-making processes, and assisting with the transition from Xero to Pronto.
With a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 +super, this opportunity is perfect for someone looking to make a significant impact in a well-established company.

What you'll do: As an Accountant, your role will be pivotal in assisting the overall financial operational and compliance requirements for the business.
You will be responsible for preparing general ledger reconciliations, assisting in coordinating month-end close processes, and ensuring all compliance documents are prepared and lodged.
Your ability to liaise with external auditors will be helpful in facilitating correct documentation for year-end audits.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to improve processes and procedures as you see fit.
Your role will also involve assisting with the financial analysis and commentary of business performance, assisting with variance analysis from actuals to budget and forecast.
Improve processes and procedures as seen fit Assist and manage month-end close processes Oversee the accounts payable/receivable functions Ensure compliance documents are prepared and lodged Assist with variance analysis from actuals to budget and forecast Prepare general ledger reconciliations and record accrual journals Assist with the financial analysis and commentary of business performance Assist the overall financial operational and compliance requirements for the business Liaise with external auditors to facilitate correct documentation in relation to the year-end audit What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Accountant role is someone who brings initiative and can work with minimal supervision.
You possess strong problem-solving abilities along with solid accounting skills.
Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a results-oriented individual, you focus on delivering outcomes while maintaining professionalism.
Proficiency in Xero or Pronto would be desirable but not mandatory.
