As the EL2 Director of Integrity, you will lead and manage the integrity framework within our Agency.
This vital position ensures that all activities, including fraud assurance and investigations, FOI and COI management, public interest disclosure investigations, and gifts and benefits management, comply with relevant legislation and ethical standards.
Your strategic leadership will guide the Integrity team to align with the Agency's goals, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behaviour.
In this exciting role, you will have the unique opportunity to help build and shape a new integrity team from the ground up.
You will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of integrity policies and procedures, promoting awareness of integrity issues among staff through effective training programs.
Additionally, you will conduct thorough investigations into allegations of misconduct, prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders, and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners to support our commitment to integrity.
The key duties of the position include: Strong leadership and strategic direction capabilities to ensure alignment with Agency goals.
Expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining integrity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation.
Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing integrity risks with appropriate mitigation strategies.
Excellent skills in designing and delivering training programs to promote understanding of integrity issues among staff.
Ability to oversee and conduct investigations into allegations of misconduct, ensuring thorough and impartial processes.
Capability to prepare and present detailed reports on integrity matters to senior management and stakeholders.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of integrity programs and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ability to obtain and maintain a national police check.
Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
Notes Order of Merit: Applicants rated as suitable will be placed in a merit pool that may be used to fill similar ongoing or non-ongoing positions throughout the Agency for up to 18 months.
