The role:Available for morning shifts right through to sleepovers.Experienced female disability support worker who has experience in disability support.If you have the passion for supporting clients with disability to realise their full potential and improve their quality of lives this could be the opportunity for you.Professional development opportunities for learning and career growth.We are seeking casual workers that will lead to permanent or part-time disability support workers who have experience in supporting children with high intellectual support needs.Enable our participants to shape and improve their lives, reaching their goals.As a support worker, you will be rewarded for your skills and commitment in providing consistent high-quality care.Enjoy working in a family-friendly, supportive, close-knit working environment driven by strong values.20+ hours per week paid employment.Experience supporting people with medical support needs.Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern.Experience supporting people with difficulties in communication.Providing complex care and support to participants with challenging behaviours and ability to comply with individual Behaviour Support Plans.Ability to complete medical charts and records.Ability to complete shift notes and progress notes.Providing support around personal care, including bathing/showering, toileting, dressing, and medication administration.Ability to recognise and understand individual changes.Domestic duties for a clean and hygienic environment and workplace, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.What's in for you?You'll experience a rewarding career where your skills and commitment are recognised and rewarded.

Consistent shifts that offer stability & the chance to have a real impact.EAP services.Mandatory requirements:Cert III in Individual Support or Cert IV in Disability SupportNDIS Worker Screening CheckNDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You)Working with Children CheckDriver's LicenceAbility to support clients with an intellectual disability and high behaviours.Must be available to work various shifts including passive sleepover.Must be able to drive participant's vehicle.Experience working with clients of high complex behaviour support.Additional skillset:Positive Behaviour SupportPersonal carePlease note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening check and a Working with Children Check.
