Female Disability Support Workers

We are seeking experienced female support workers to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our Serbian-speaking female client who has an acquired disability, as a result of an accident.
If possible, our client would love to have some carers in her team who share her Serbian/European background. Longer shifts and up to full-time hours available
Position Overview: Support workers will provide daily living support to our female elderly client who has sustained an acquired brain injury as a result of an accident.
As she is at risk of falls, she requires constant mobility support and supervision.
Our client's native language is Serbian, so we would love to have some Serbian-speaking support workers in her team. Responsibilities: Provide assistance with mobility, walking and transferringAssist with personal care tasksMeal preparation and meal time assistanceUndertake domestic tasks, including household cleaning and laundryAssist with shopping, appointments and outings into the communityPrompt and supervise home exercise programs.Two long shifts per day available: 06:00-16:0016:00 to 06:00 (including an inactive sleepover shift)Flexible scheduling with weekday and weekend hours using our user-friendly mobile app.
Fantastic Pay Rates: Day Shift - $41.76 to $43.08Afternoon Shift - $45.94Saturday Shift - $58.47Sunday Shift - $75.17Public Holiday Shift - $91.88You must hold (or be willing to obtain): Current National Police CheckCurrent Yellow Card/National Disability Worker Screening ClearanceCompletion of NDIS Worker Orientation ModuleRight to work statusCurrent First Aid/CPR CertificateWorking with Children Check - (Blue Card)A valid driver's license and the ability to drive client vans (comprehensive car insurance required)Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care / Individual Support & paid experience (or studying Nursing)Additional Selection Criteria: Experience providing high-quality care to individuals with Acquired Disability, including Brain InjuriesWillingness and ability to accompany our client into the community for social events and appointmentsA positive attitude and professional natureMeticulous attention to detail for shift notes and following care plansDesirable: Ability to speak Serbian.
