At Ray White, we aim to transform our economic insights into engaging, shareable content that resonates with our audience.
About the Role - As the Content Strategy & Production Lead, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our economists and the public, ensuring that everything we create contributes to building Ray White as the most trusted voice in property.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy, determining what to produce and when to release it.
Identify which economic insights work best for different channels and formats.
Align content with audience search intent and interests.
Track content performance and analyze what works and what doesn't.
Identify content gaps and topics that we should cover to stay ahead of the curve.
Collaboration with the Economics Team:
Meet regularly with economists to understand their research and insights.
Simplify complex data into clear, compelling stories.
Spot opportunities in economic updates and research to create timely content.
Support economists in developing their voice and presentation style.
Ensure all content is both accurate and engaging.
Content Planning & Creation:
Create and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
Collaborate with the multimedia producer to plan and execute video content.
Write briefs for various types of content, ensuring clear direction for execution.
Find innovative ways to reuse and repurpose content across different channels.
Plan series and regular content to encourage audience engagement and build habits.
Team Coordination:
Work closely with the multimedia producer to create video content.
Brief and coordinate with the social media team to ensure seamless content distribution.
Keep the economics team updated on content performance and insights.
Collaborate with the broader marketing team on large-scale campaigns.
Manage content sign-off processes to ensure alignment and accuracy.
Analytics & Optimization:
Monitor and track the performance of content across channels.
Use data to optimize content strategies and improve engagement.
Report on key metrics and test different approaches to improve outcomes.
Build audience insights to guide and shape future content strategy.
Required Skills
Strong editorial judgment with the ability to turn complex insights into easily digestible content.
Excellent project management skills with an eye for detail.
Solid understanding of digital content trends and audience behavior.
Ability to explain complex data and economic concepts in simple, engaging ways.
Experience managing content across multiple platforms and channels.
A basic understanding of data and economics (or the ability to quickly learn).
Exceptional writing and editing skills.
A strategic thinker who is also hands-on and can dive into the nitty-gritty of content creation.
