An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced radiographer to take the next step in their career into the newly created Chief Radiographer role at the Medical Imaging Department located at Epworth Hospital, Freemasons.
Epworth Medical Imaging is looking for a dynamic leader with a track record of providing excellence in patient care, positive leadership, and resource management in a safe and supportive working environment.
Responsibilities of the role include: Plan and manage the daily radiographer resourcing and productivity by ensuring appropriate rostering, sick leave management, and leave planning.Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to a high standard.Manage, develop, and provide clinical guidance to the team of medical imaging technologists.Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day activity, including prioritisation of the daily workload, equipment maintenance, and first line people management.Lead quality improvement initiatives informed by clinical incident reviews as well as review and refine work practices to improve clinical and performance outcomes.Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key referrers and hospital stakeholders.Other responsibilities as allocated by the Site Operations Manager or COO.Skills & Experience The successful candidate will:
Experience as a Modality Lead in a hospital setting.Strong understanding of the service delivery models within the private healthcare sector.People management experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Experience with incident reporting systems, such as Riskman.Experience with accreditation DIAS standards.Enquire/Apply for this Position For more information or to obtain a copy of the PD please email Claire Goodwin - Site Operations Manager, Richmond at ******.
