We are currently seeking an experienced IS Manager to join our team and lead our technology solutions in the aged care and NDIS sectors.
Position Overview: People First Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated IS Manager to lead our IT/IS team and ensure the seamless operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the integration, security, and optimisation of technology solutions to support our business operations and organisational objectives.
As the IS Manager, you will provide strategic direction, lead a talented team of IT/IS professionals, and manage critical IT/IS projects.
You will also be responsible for ensuring security and compliance across all IT systems and working closely with internal teams and external vendors to address evolving technological needs.
Key Responsibilities: IT Strategy and System Analysis: Evaluate existing systems and propose improvements for scalability and integration.
Develop strategies to enhance organisational technology and drive efficiency.Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance IS/IT team.
Foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment with organisational goals.Solution Design and Implementation: Oversee the design and deployment of technology solutions that align with industry best practices and business needs.Project Management: Manage end-to-end IT projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.Security and Compliance: Ensure robust cybersecurity practices are in place to protect systems and data.
Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with standards.Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure IT systems support business objectives and to communicate technical information clearly.Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing learning within the team, staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.What You Bring to the Role: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience in IS/IT management, with a proven track record of managing IT infrastructure, teams, and projects.Understanding of compliance standards in Aged Care and NDIS sectors is highly preferred.Strong knowledge in networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise software.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.Additional Requirements: The right to work unrestricted in Australia (evidence required).National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months) or willingness to apply for one.Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply for one).NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one).Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.How to Apply: If you are a dedicated IS/IT professional with leadership experience and a passion for making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply by submitting your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
