The day to day ALS Environmental in Wangara is seeking experienced Laboratory Technicians to join our dynamic team, dedicated to exceeding client expectations by consistently delivering high-quality results on time.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparation and analysis of soil, water, and marine sediment samples for a variety of tests Ensuring that analytical procedures and associated tasks are conducted in accordance with the ALS Quality Work Instructions, including QA/QC Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencies Completing all tasks and analyses within both the time set down by the supervisor and the relevant analysis standard Highlighting anomalies in results, sample type, and sample behaviour You will receive on-the-job training in the technical components and procedures of the role.
The role: Full-Time roles are available Monday to Friday (8 hours shift) Start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 am, finishing between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm The essentials A genuine interest in the Science Industry, preferably with a BSc (Chemistry, Environmental Science or similar) or TAFE qualifications in Laboratory Techniques A desire to work in a high-throughput, customer-focused environment, with preference given to those with previous commercial laboratory experience Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills Desire to learn new skills Good communication skills A strong desire to exceed client expectations by delivering quality results on time Proficiency in MS Word and Excel Working at ALS Our people drive our success at ALS.
