If you are looking for a challenge and enjoy assisting clients in optimising their operations, cutting costs, managing risks and driving transformational change, then this just might be the opportunity for you.The EMA Advisory team are trusted strategic advisors & delivery partners to Government who undertake complex program & commercial activities that balance the need to maximise value-for-money with effectively achieving program outcomes, while also adhering to compliance and governance requirements.About the Role/sWe are seeking people to add to our high achieving team who produce exceptional outcomes for our clients. You must have 3+ years experience in Defence or Federal Government Program Management.You will work directly with our clients (supported by the extant team), to provide complex and strategic solutions including:Identifying and managing commercial outcomes related to the program,Providing accurate and timely commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders together with preparing internal briefs, approval submissions and reportsContract and Deed reviewsCommercial Negotiations to establish new arrangementsCompliance reviews and drafting of contract terms – particularly for the application of new technologiesContract managementThe ability to hold & maintain AGSVA clearance is essential.Necessary criteria:3+ years practical experience in Australian Government in Program management or a Commercial lead role,Qualifications in Agile project management, PRINCE2, or equivalent,Comprehensive knowledge of CPR's & the PGPA,Ability to work autonomously as an SME in your field.Nice to have:Legal qualifications are an advantage.Defence experience is highly regarded.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Commercial Consultant?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
