Bid Manager

SYSTRA ANZ is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bid Manager to join our growing team.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering strategic, 'Must Win' bids across a range of sectors including transport, infrastructure, and defence.
As a Bid Manager, you will provide expert guidance and compliance support to functional bid teams, ensuring the successful preparation and submission of high-quality proposals.
Role Requirements Lead the preparation and delivery of bids, including creating detailed Bid Plans, coordinating workstreams, and ensuring compliance with governance and corporate procedures.Work closely with Senior Bid Managers and Bid Directors, driving bid teams to meet strict deadlines and produce compliant, high-quality submissions.Develop bid templates, graphics, and supporting materials to enhance bid production processes.Build strong client relationships, acting as the point of contact for procurement-related activities and attending client debrief/feedback sessions.Encourage collaboration and positive team dynamics, setting an example of trust, integrity, and constructive leadership.Manage bid teams, ensuring roles are clearly defined, and guide junior staff, interns, and trainees as part of the bid process.Capture and apply feedback for continuous improvement of SYSTRA's bid management processes and tools.Nice to have: A post-secondary qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a similar discipline.3-4 years' experience in a multi-disciplinary technical environment, with exposure to transport, infrastructure, or defence sectors.Proven experience in coordinating deliverables from multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex bids.Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and detailed bid documentation.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality.A positive and proactive approach to leadership and team collaboration.SYSTRA ANZ offers a range of benefits to our employees, including ongoing opportunities for professional development, support to obtain Chartership status, and continuous learning and development programs.
