About the Role: The role will work across student management lifecycle domains and capabilities, driving and supporting all facets of solution architecture including establishing and maintaining current state and target state solution architecture and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture whilst providing architectural design direction to the project.
Supporting the project strategic goals and delivery blueprint, and working with senior stakeholders, governance boards, domain leads, domain owners, and vendor architects to enable timely and efficient implementation of the new SMS and related system capabilities.
This position is a key role in the implementation of a new SMS, which is a key component of achieving MP's Strategic Plan and Digital Strategy.
Duties: Collaborating with the SMS Project Enterprise Architect, Technical Delivery team and business stakeholder and vendors drive the activities required for delivery of key solutions both integration, automation and capability in the technology stream.
This includes solution architecture, integration architecture, technical designs and specifications, documentation, and compliance.
The key initial focus will be on automation and integration design and build for key capabilities in Ready Student and to/from Learning Management system (Moodle) , the timetabling system (Celcat) and other key integrations.
Manages workshops, working sessions and day-to-day interactions with business technical owners and business SME's to ensure architecture and technical requirements are complete, logical, and are of a high quality in order to use in the development, configuration and implementation of the SMS.
Leads the review and assurance that SMS architectural and technical requirements are captured in accordance with agreed time frames and priorities are identified and clear.
Ensure key AS IS pain points are collected and understood.
Leads the synthesising, validation, completeness and quality standardisation of SMS architectural requirements.
Work closely?with key stakeholders to ensure SMS architectural requirements documentation and presentations are completed for executive review and sign-off.
Aligns SMS architectural requirements to agreed framework and needs, and with the key AS IS process.
Perform project management and solution architect functions as agreed and participates in the forward planning for the SMS implementation framework.

Skills and Experience Required: Desirable tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, IT, or extensive demonstrated experience in similar role.
Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and stakeholder influencing skills.
Extensive knowledge of SMS and CRM capability in the education sector, including processes, and related system capabilities.
Deep and proven experience in automation and integration design and build for key capabilities in Ready Student (JR Plus) and to/from Learning Management system (Moodle) , the timetabling system (Celcat) Demonstrated experience in the successful design, development, and implementation of a project of this complexity on time and on budget.
Experienced in utilising a range of project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to develop strategies, business proposals and change requests.
Ability to identify, communicate and manage risks and issues.
Analytical capability, strong organisational skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to achieve outcomes in tight timeframes and to manage to schedule, budget and achieve benefits.
Ability to be agile, adaptable and resilient.
A current Police Check.
A current Working with Children Check Card (Employee).
