Conference Organiser

As a conference organiser, you will screen matters referred for a family dispute resolution conference to ensure compliance with commonwealth guidelines before scheduling conferences with clients.
You will have knowledge of the dispute resolution process and will provide information to clients and external legal practitioners.
You will also be responsible for other administrative activities including data entry and reporting.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in the following:
Conduct intake and screening of all matters referred for a family dispute resolution conference to ensure compliance with the commonwealth guidelines.
Manage a lawyer assisted family dispute resolution conferencing file load.
Provide general information to conference clients and external legal practitioners in relation to family dispute resolution conference files or the process.
Schedule family dispute resolution conferences including sending correspondence and calling clients and the conference chairperson to negotiate appointments.
You will have:
Demonstrated administrative experience and have previously worked to organisational policies and guidelines.
Effective communication skills with external stakeholders and clients with complex needs, providing courteous, prompt, and professional services.
Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members and contribute to team planning.
Some demonstrated experience and knowledge of legal practices and processes, particularly in relation to lawyer assisted family dispute resolution.

36.25 hrs per week (full time hours) Generous salary packaging 12.75% employer super contributions Study leave for approved work-related courses.
