OverviewThe Employee Relations Specialist – Human Resources will provide specialist Employee Relations support to leaders through influencing, coaching, and mentoring. This role is responsible for developing sound stakeholder relationships, identifying and mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance with relevant workplace laws, industrial instruments, and policies. The Employee Relations Specialist – Human Resources will also support generalist HR activities across the employee lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Industrial RelationsManage day-to-day aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievance management, and workplace investigations.Coach managers on performance management, absenteeism, grievance management, policy application, and other HR matters.Support managers through investigation and disciplinary processes, ensuring they are conducted fairly and in compliance with regulations and policies.Manage the performance management process to drive high performance and accountability.Represent the company in matters before the Fair Work Commission and other relevant bodies, if needed.HR PoliciesDevelop and manage HR and Work Health & Safety policies, practices, and programs to ensure compliance and a consistent global approach.Recruitment & OnboardingPartner with the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring Managers on recruitment, workforce planning activities, onboarding, and offboarding processes.Manage onboarding, guiding new hires through procedures, completing documentation, and conducting orientations.Talent ManagementIdentify L&D needs for relevant client groups.Working closely with the local, global HR teams, and external providers, manage the development and delivery of L&D programs for corporate and field teams, where appropriate.Assess company culture, identify gaps in areas such as leadership, succession, teamwork, communication, and recognition, and develop strategies to address these issues in order to foster employee engagement.HR OperationsPartner with and support the APAC HR Services team on all operational and administrative matters.Manage and support other HR projects, as needed.Work Health & SafetyPartner with the HR Services team to support Work Health & Safety and risk management policies and strategies for corporate and field teams.Qualifications4-7 years' experience in Human Resources with specialization in Employee and/or Industrial Relations.Experience within fast-paced commercial environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Proven ability to work through end-to-end complex employee relations cases.Strong negotiation, coaching, and influencing skills.Experience working across and effectively influencing stakeholders within a range of levels across an organization.Track record in developing strong relationships internally, externally, and across various business units.BenefitsA Flexible Hybrid Working environment.Yearly performance bonus.Excellent Staff Discounts on Foot Locker products – Nike, Adidas, ASICS and many moreFree undercover on-site parking.Access for you and your immediate family to our Employee Assistance Program.Free access to Wellhub.An inclusive and supportive team culture.
