St Philip's Christian College Gosford is one of the leading independent educators in the Newcastle / Central Coast / Hunter Region.
It is a non-denominational Christian School with an open enrolment policy.
We are currently seeking a full-time Instructional Leader of HSIE to join us for the commencement of Term One, 2025.
As a Christian faith community committed to the ministry of Christian education, the Mission Statement of St Philip's Christian Education Foundation states that:
St Philip's Christian College will continue to provide quality education in a caring, secure and challenging learning environment based on Christian beliefs, values and practice. We therefore seek Christians who are professionally and personally committed to bringing their evangelical and Biblically based beliefs, values and practices to this ministry of Christian Education.
Responsibilities:Promote the Christian vision and ethos of the school and broader organisation.Demonstrate a living relationship with Jesus Christ.Hold an accredited Teaching Degree as recognised by NESA.Have proven experience and expertise in subject-specific Stage Four to Stage Six syllabi.Possess positive classroom management skills and a desire to pastorally support and disciple the students.Exhibit a high level of interpersonal skills leading to constructive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.Demonstrate a proven capacity to work effectively in a team and to actively lead and support team members.Possess excellent communication skills – both written and oral.Further information, including Job Description, can be located on the employment page of our website.
