The Commercial Manager – Airports will be responsible for working with key stakeholders across the Qantas Group to understand relevant Group business needs and objectives to develop long term Group airport strategies.
You will ensure that appropriate commercial strategies are developed and applied to individual airports, according to the overall Commercial Airports strategy.
They will take responsibility for commercial & financial analysis activities for airports, including detail valuation analysis of contracts, strategic considerations and relevant executive approval materials.
You will work with Head of Finance & Strategy, Head of Airport Commercial and EM of Commercial airports to evaluate commercial airport deals.
The Commercial Manager will need to apply a range of analysis techniques to evaluate the feasibility of contracts, whilst considering strategic network and fleet requirements.
To be successful you will possess: 5+ years' experience in a commercial or corporate finance role, including experience in a strategy capacityTertiary qualifications in Finance or Business Management are preferredAdvanced financial analysis skills, including multifaceted DCF models, data processing, long financial planning and construction of complex business casesDemonstrates the ability to influence and convince stakeholders, building effective business relationships with diverse groups of peopleManaging complex negotiations and managing change project managementStrong leadership with some ability in running cross-functional projects/teamsDeliver outcomes in a time-sensitive environmentAble to interpret and execute commercial strategies, analyse data and markets, professionally present findings and recommendationsDemonstrated commercial awareness with a clear understanding of the drivers affecting the businessDemonstrate a passion for delivering commercially astute outcomesFlexibility and creativity – able to demonstrate the ability to adopt new methods and processes in order to deliver outcomes and meet the internal customer needWhy Qantas?
