Account Manager - Event Production Services Our client is one of Australia's biggest event technology suppliers, specialising in enhancing a wide variety of events with world-class production technicians, cutting-edge technology, and the newest in Audio, Visual, Lighting, Rigging, and Staging equipment.

Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Account Manager to join their Sydney Production team.

The Role
Prepare quotes, bids, tenders, proposals, and bookings for clients.
Cross-sell other departments of the business where possible.
Nurture key client relationships and maximise spend on product through providing creative technical solutions while delivering the most profitable returns for the company.
Maintain growth from existing client accounts and develop new business.
Prepare a schedule of rates and establish multi-year contracts where possible.
Research and identify new areas of business, promote the company's services to new clients, conduct face-to-face presentations, site inspections, and manage general client accounts.
Conduct crew and event-staff briefings to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Create detailed floor plans and production operation schedules.
Manage required accreditation for all contract staff.
Ensure compliance with all documentation.
Liase with relevant Government departments for necessary permits and approvals.
Coordinate installation and removal logistics with other contractors and organisers.
Update and maintain client database, schedule appropriate call cycles and client visits to prospective and existing clients.
Attend weekly management meetings, provide weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecasts, and contribute to senior-level decision-making.

The Candidate:
Previous sales/account management role working to targets and delivering results in line with budgets and forecasts.
Ideally from an event production background, with previous experience selling and quoting for audio-visual equipment and/or concepts.
AVL/Staging technical knowledge or background is highly valued.
Excellent interpersonal, administration, IT, and organisational skills.
Technical drawing skills are highly regarded.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Personable, professional, and always well-presented.
Must be a team player, self-motivated, and proactive in all areas of work.
Available for occasional out-of-hours work, including being onsite at client events and for client entertainment.
Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license.

Salary & Benefits:
$110-160K inclusive of super plus bonus (negotiable based on experience).
