Senior Account Manager - Audio Visual Services Account & Relationship Management (Sales)
Our client is a market leader in AV production and equipment hire, delivering state-of-the-art solutions for events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences and exhibitions.
Based in Sydney and operating across Australia, our client combines cutting-edge technology, technical expertise, and a dedicated creative team to bring event visions to life.
The Role:As part of an exciting growth phase, we are seeking a Senior Account Manager to join the Account Services team.
Reporting directly into the Sales Director and Head of Production you will be responsible for:
Continuing to grow and nurture strong existing client accounts/relationships, delivering exceptional service and maintaining a client-centric approach.
Design and sell tailored innovative technical AV production solutions for all kinds of event formats.
Work with clients to deliver solutions that align with their budget and event vision.
Prepare proposals, budgets, and Vectorworks/CAD drawings (training available).
Manage incoming leads assigned by the Sales Director and actively build your pipeline.
Conduct site visits where required, as well as sales calls to client offices.
Collaborate and communicate closely with Event Project Managers, who handle the technical execution of the events.
Leverage extensive internal support from senior team members throughout the sales process to ensure a successful conversion rate.
Work closely with project/technical teams and venue partners to ensure seamless delivery of events.
Adhere to health and safety policies and assist with risk assessments and safe work statements.
The Candidate:We're looking for a sales-driven, process-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses:
3-4 years' experience in a reactive sales role, preferably within the events or AV industry.
A good understanding of AV equipment and event production solutions; knowledge of what AVL equipment does and its role in production is essential, but technical operation skills are not required.
Strong ability to conceptualize and sell event designs while providing clients with options that suit their budget and work within their chosen venue.
Process-driven and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be effective at all levels with clients, crew, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Vectorworks for technical drawings is ideal but can be taught.
Driving License is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with Sydney venues and show production concepts is essential.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary from $90-110K+ (dependent on experience) plus bonus, phone allowance and other benefits.
Car-parking and company vehicles provided as required.
Office-based role with flexible work hours as required.
