About the role We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team to work in our Multidisciplinary Laboratory. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Blood film reporting and validationOperation of Haematology analysers in both routine and audit related Quality Assurance activitiesContributing to continuous improvement and the development of new assays as requiredLiaising with internal and/or external stakeholders (referring practitioners) regarding test results or referrals as necessaryCompliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance ProcessesPerform manual and automated diagnostic testingPerforming all routine procedures from point of specimen reception to execution of results for Pathological diagnosis, including specimen dissectionCompliance with records maintenance and recording of results in line with protocolsMaintaining all equipment and operating equipment in line with protocolsMaintaining current scientific knowledgeParticipation in both routine and audit related Quality Assurance activitiesAbout you To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the essential requirements:
