About the Department Our client, a federal government agency that contributes to Australia's economic prosperity and social wellbeing by creating opportunities and driving better outcomes through access to quality education and learning.
About the Role The Schools USI Project team delivers policy and project design advice to support the implementation of a national unique student identifier for school students (National Policy Initiative under the National School Reform Agreement).
This role requires a high degree of initiative and leadership with the following key activities:
Key Duties Lead the work to ensure that organisation data governance and management policies are consistent and compliant with relevant standards, regulations, and Australian Government policies, to leverage data as an organisational asset.Advise on the implementation of policies, frameworks, and processes and support data-related issues and initiatives.Develop key documentation such as data governance agreements and data protocols.Cultivate and nurture relationships with a network of key external and internal stakeholders to define, educate and oversee data management policies.Undertake the preparation of policy and technical documentation and activities as requested.Assist in the implementation of ICT and policy implementation, communications and stakeholder engagement.Provide project support to deliver high quality project management documentation.Contract Details EL1 hourly rate contract, 6-months + possible 12-month extensionLocated in Canberra, ACTMinimum Baseline clearance required.
