Manager - Esg And Climate Change

The opportunity to join our team This role is involved in the development and implementation of Climate Change capabilities and strategies, including materiality assessments, scenario analysis, transition plans, climate metrics, and reporting.
This role will assist Insignia Financial in building capability across its business to successfully deliver climate-related financial reporting and provide visibility and transparency to our members and investors.
Key Responsibilities: Be a lead role in coordinating and conducting Climate risk related materiality assessments maturing from qualitative to quantitative measurements in line with reporting requirements.Incorporate materiality assessments into transition planning and financial reporting to inform high priority areas of climate risks and opportunities.Develop the foundational structure of Insignia's Climate Transition Plan working with Strategy to link in with the annual and 3yr business reviews.Work with key stakeholders to build climate risk scenario assessments.Play a key role in building Insignia's climate metrics and operational emissions for disclosure including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.Play a key role in building Insignia's climate metrics to understand and report on "financed" emissions across multiple financial products.Build Climate transition planning and reporting process to meet public disclosure requirements.Work with key stakeholders to set operational emissions targets and implement into Insignia's strategy.What you will bring Experience in a similar or like-for-like role.In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks and climate-related risks.Strong understanding of the regulatory environment including exposure to Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.Experience in the development of ESG reporting.Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and business units.Experience in the superannuation industry preferred.To Apply Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia, and at a minimum be required to undertake police and basic credit checks as a condition of employment.
