Job Description:With a commitment to driving positive change and contributing to the evolution of Australia's green energy sector, this is your chance to be part of something groundbreakingOur Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Senior Engineer to share their expertise within our growing Project Wide team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for utility projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, utility systems, and project management.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems for utility projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Manage projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.Prepare technical specifications and drawings for the construction and operation of electrical utility systems.Coordinate with other engineers and professionals on the project to ensure project success.Provide technical support to field personnel during the construction and commissioning phases of projects.Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and the utility industry.Conduct quality assurance reports and inspections.Ensure compliance with safety systems and standards.Minimum Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.A master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical utilities or a related field.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, utility standards, and project management.Proficiency in electrical engineering software, including P6 scheduling.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to visit and safely navigate project sites and comply with all applicable safety regulations.Ability to work in different weather conditions.Willing to work and stay on site (DIDO) on a roster.We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
