Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals, including General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Aboriginal Health Worker Practitioners, work together to provide exceptional patient care.About The OpportunityAs the Broome Renal Health Centre Manager, you will oversee the strategic and operational management of the Broome Renal Health Centre.
This leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality renal services, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and fostering a supportive and culturally sensitive workplace environment.You will work closely with the Kimberley Renal Services Leadership Team to implement strategic directions, meet operational targets, and drive service excellence in chronic kidney disease (CKD) management and dialysis programs.Key responsibilities include:Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality care and effective management of resources.Providing leadership to a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and continuous professional developmentMonitoring performance, reporting outcomes, and ensuring adherence to budgets, governance frameworks, and targetsManaging recruitment, performance management, and staff mentoring to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforceCollaborating and liaising closely with the KRS Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic initiatives for renal health services in the regionEnsuring compliance with accreditation standards, clinical governance, and reporting requirementsSupporting prevention initiatives and chronic disease management in the communityPromoting a culturally safe environment for patients and staff, aligned with the principles of Aboriginal Health Care and Community ControlWho are we looking for?To qualify for this role you will have proven leadership and management experience, with a background in clinical experience including a minimum of 3 years managing teams in a health service environmentStrategic management expertise with a proven ability to drive operational and clinical excellenceA strong track record of providing effective leadership, fostering team collaboration, and delivering measurable outcomesHigh attention to detail with a focus on achieving targets and maintaining operational standardsExperience working in or with multicultural teams, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivityAbility to liaise and cooperate effectively with executive leadership and governance teamsCurrent AHPRA RegistrationExperience in strategic planning, operational management, and clinical governanceExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsDesirable:Experience in renal health services or dialysis programsQualifications in leadership, management, or related fieldsTake the Next StepIf you are passionate about making a difference to be part of a team committed to improving the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Kimberley region, we encourage you to Apply NOWPlease note: Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (three doses) and willing to obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
