About the Role This role is responsible for the management of a portfolio of Institutional clients to meet customers' needs end-to-end across Relationship, Transaction Banking and Research & Analysis.
The Growth Portfolio, a newly established customer segment for Institutional, manage clients that value less complex solutions from ANZ.
Supporting this customer experience with a focus on making best use of ANZ's digital solutions, increasing customer advocacy through proactive engagement using insights, data & initiatives to support growth and revenue with an expectation to play a wider role with a collaborative approach.
• This role will manage its own portfolio of clients, the end-to-end credit process and will exercise delegated CAD.• Through deep client/ industry understanding and underpinned by high quality analysis, the role helps capture valuable business and cross-sell opportunities with acceptable risk appetite.
The primary activities of the role covers enhancing existing relationships, client analysis and account strategy.• Increase customer advocacy through proactive engagement using insights, customer campaigns & initiatives.• Industry specific research and ongoing portfolio management functions are also core responsibilities and execution of the 'well managed' agenda within agreed portfolio management protocols.• Role will have line manager responsibility including the development of Relationship Managers.

As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will have the opportunity: Deliver against sales and revenue targets for existing customers aligned with strategic priorities Increase banking share of wallet/product penetration across the client portfolio Develop and implement Coverage and TB Product solutions that add mutual value to the customer/bank Structuring product and service solutions to maximise revenue and embed customer service end to end Provide quality support of research and analysis Ensure our culture, risk management and governance responds to changing expectation of our regulators, customers, community and shareholders Effective pipeline management using Mercury and sales process Leverage our purpose, values and code of conduct to drive a high performance culture Active engagement and building relationships with Product Partners, Risk, Client Insights and Solutions and other key stakeholders within IB and where appropriate other divisions of the Bank What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Strong stakeholder, time management and problem solving skills Ability to recognise requirement to balance growth, volume and product targets Negotiate and gain closure on sales and manage delivery of end-to-end sales and credit process Developing advanced analytical skills supporting maturing commercial judgement and business instincts underpinning actions/recommendations Self motivated and adaptable to ambiguity Understanding of clients Working Capital Cycle with a data analytical mindset Strong experience in relationship credit management and financial modelling skills exercising CAD You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
