New Car Sales Manager

Full TimeOne of Melbourne's largest privately-owned Automotive Dealership Groups in Ballarat is currently seeking a driven Sales Manager within or outside of the Automotive industry who strives to be a part of an industry-leading team. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career in this rewarding industry. Automotive experience is NOT necessary If you are in Sales and Management, we encourage you to apply Training will be provided for the right applicant.About this role:Reporting to the General Manager, you will have individual sales KPIs; however, you will also assist the sales team in identifying and closing deals with additional upselling.You will review all daily activities, maximizing every opportunity/prospect with the team.You will be the lifeline to the salesperson, performing one-on-one coaching to achieve monthly targets.Ensure all leads and opportunities within the CRM are managed and followed up quickly and timely.You will be the driver of "saving the deal", ensuring customers see or hear from you before they leave.Assist in driving the overall company goals and growth strategy.Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:Exceptional customer service skills.Well-developed ability to drive sales as an individual and as a leader.This means you will be someone who gets in the trenches with the sales team, removes any roadblocks, and helps drive results.Well-developed interpersonal, consulting, and negotiating skills, including the ability to liaise and provide advice to management.The motivation to succeed and meet targets.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.High standards of personal presentation and professionalism.A "Can Do" attitude and passion for sales.Competent computer skills.Current driver's license.Previous experience in a similar role – Highly regarded but not essential.In return we will offer you:A great career path within the organisation.An Equal Opportunities Workplace.Ongoing training and a great team environment.A market-leading salary package including base wage with a fantastic incentive structure.We encourage candidates from all industries in the sales sector to apply.
