Learning & Support Advisor | Local Government | Melbourne Inner East Osborne Richardson is thrilled to partner with a Local Government client in Melbourne's inner east to recruit a Learning & Support Advisor for an initial 3-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful learning and development initiatives within a dynamic team environment.
About the Role: As a Learning & Support Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation's learning and development programs.
Your expertise will drive leadership development, education, compliance training, and more.
You will work closely with senior management, team leaders, and staff at all levels to foster an engaged, capable workforce.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate constructively with stakeholders at all levels to deliver impactful learning outcomes.
Manage project-related tasks efficiently, producing clear and concise documentation.
Contribute positively to a team environment, sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration.
Define and implement strategic learning and development initiatives, with a focus on leadership, compliance, and professional growth.
Lead engagement programs, induction processes, compliance reporting, and performance management strategies.
Design and deliver professional development and operational capability frameworks.
Facilitate engaging training sessions that inspire and educate participants.
Drive efficiencies in learning processes through innovative systems and workflows.
Advise on HR policies, systems, and procedures, ensuring best practices are upheld across the organisation.
Key Skills and Experience: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, delivering high-quality outputs.
Expertise in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; experience with ELMO is highly regarded.
Passion for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence in learning and development.
Proven facilitation skills and the ability to engage learners effectively.
