Opportunity for an experienced senior lawyer to join our growing Insurance team in Brisbane

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior lawyer to join our highly successful Insurance Division on a full-time basis.
Based in Brisbane, the successful candidate will enjoy working on high value matters for premium insurer clients in a team that is recognised within the industry for delivering high quality advice and outstanding service to clients across a diverse range of sectors including:
Public liability - Personal Injury & Property Product liability Indemnity CTP Catastrophic claims.
The key purpose in this role will be to offer a broad range of personal injury and general insurance services to a wide network of clients.
You will be required to have a demonstrated and sound knowledge of the industry, with the ability to run matters through to completion.
As a senior member of the team, you will be experienced in, and comfortable leading and mentoring junior lawyers.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current Queensland practising certificate Minimum 2 years' post admission experience in general insurance matters, including liability claims Experience in personal injury proceedings in Queensland A passion for and experience in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields High degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focus A commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.
