The Role:The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes.
You will need:A strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices, with effective assessment, problem-solving, and organisational skills.An ability to respect individual and group rights, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.An understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, with the capacity to contribute to quality improvement and research activities.Details of appointment:Permanent, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing from 2 February 2025.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:$70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.Salary Packaging:You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Essential Criteria:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse.Desirable Criteria:Note: - Please refer to the Application Guide for more information of pre-employment check.
