Casual role in our supportive & vibrant perioperative team Grade 2 or 3 Instrument Technician Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation Services About the role Holmesglen Private Hospital located in Moorabbin is seeking an experienced Grade 2 or 3 CSSD Technician to join our CSSD theatre team on a casual basis available to work a minimum of one shift per week between Monday and Friday.
You can expect to work on average 1 to 3 shifts per week. The shift times are 7:00am-3:00pm and 2:30pm-10:30pm. This role will see you working in a team of around 5 people per shift.
Key responsibilities will include: Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areasComply with AS/NZ standards 4187 2014, GENCAOperate, interpret and document all machinery operational requirementsReport and document all quality activitiesEnsure priority of instrumentation and processesAbout us Holmesglen Private Hospital offers an extensive range of healthcare services along with rewarding and exciting career opportunities.
The Hospital includes 147 beds across 5 wards providing medical, surgical and rehabilitation services, combined intensive care and coronary care unit, emergency department, 7 operating suites, catheter laboratory, day of surgery admission and day infusion/oncology services.

Minimum Requirements: Certificate III in SterilisationGrade 2 or Grade 3 Sterilisation TechnicianMust be available for a minimum of one 8-hour shift per week Monday-FridaySound knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 2014Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentationExperience with tracking systemsExperience in Endoscopy, setup and handling loan equipment, or willingness to learnDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailIntermediate computer literacy skills - including MS Office and various databasesAn interest in promoting best practice patient careA focus on professional developmentWhy Healthscope?
