Senior Dynamics / Power Platform Developer - 12 months+ contract - PerthWe are a leading Perth-based technology consultancy, and due to a large upcoming project with one of our key Government clients, we are looking to hire an experienced MS Dynamics and Power Platform Developer for an initial 12-month contract with possible extension. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the governance, design, configuration, and operation of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. The role also contributes to the development, integration, customization, and support of Power Apps solutions to support various IT projects. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate requirements, estimating work content and planned timelines, and communicating proposed designs and progress on these solutions.Essential Experience / Skills Required:Significant experience in design, configuration, and development in the Microsoft Power Platform.Knowledge of Office 365 platform including Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.Significant demonstrated experience in developing Azure logic apps and functions.Experience in the development of policy, processes, and procedures in a software development environment.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to knowledge share and grow the team through collaboration.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements.Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.Familiar with Agile practices, Jira, Confluence, etc.Main Responsibilities:Assist with the provision of materials to support the governance of the Dynamics 365 and PowerApps environment.Build and customize Power Apps using the Dataverse, custom connectors, and other connectors to integrate with other systems and data sources.Coding, testing, maintaining, customizing, and deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions including workflows, plugins, and integrations.Ensure data integrity and security within Dynamics 365 applications.Develop and maintain workflows using Microsoft Power Automate or other relevant workflow tools.Create and maintain data models and database structures to support Power Apps functionality.Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into Power Apps.Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in Power Apps.Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate proposed designs and progress, ensuring applications meet business needs, customer requirements, and agreed completion dates.Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security.Develop and maintain documentation related to software development, including requirements and design documents, and user manuals.Lead code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are upheld.Continuously improve development processes, tools, and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of application development.Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform technologies and trends to identify new opportunities for innovation.On offer:Initial 12-month contract, with likely extension.Flexible working hours (with some scope to WFH 1 to 2 days per week).Good hourly rate.Perth CBD based role.Please click apply now to submit your details.
