Nurse Unit Manager, Cairns & Hinterland Hospital & Health Service - Innisfail
About your role: Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs, and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.Provide effective and efficient management of service in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate the provision of quality evidence-based care.Collaboratively lead, support, and participate in investigating and implementing recommendations for improved client outcomes and service delivery using a range of appropriate audit/research approaches.Provide effective communication, consultation, and negotiation throughout the service to ensure the involvement of stakeholders in the coordination of patient care.Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the understanding, application, analysis, and interpretation of professional clinical and management knowledge and experience to provide sound advice.Lead and coordinate quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective services.As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive competitive remuneration, you will also have access to:
