DescriptionThe Role: Navantia Australia is seeking an Engineering Change Manager to join their team in Garden Island, Sydney.
The Engineering Change Manager will oversee Project Management of Engineering Change projects for LHD, DDG, or AOR class vessels under the Design Support Contractor (DSC) contract.
Responsibilities include project planning, monitoring, technical reviews coordination, budget management, and more.
Your responsibilities will include: Project management of Change Request Analyses and Developmental Activities for ECDevelopment of Project Plans for each engineering change projectCoordination of Technical Reviews and technical data managementProject Budget and schedule managementCoordination of subcontract engagement and controlsDevelopment of Engineering Change process documentationSupport to the Resource Planning collaboratively with ACE organisationsApply appropriate governance, processes and standards ensuring compliance with sound systems PMO principlesSupport Continuous Improvement initiativesAs the ideal candidate, you will have: A recognised and relevant university degree in Project Management or Engineering ManagementTraining in project management, work planning, budgeting and Earned value Management (EVM)Training in technical team management and leadershipMinimum 5 years' in a Project Management roleProven experience in the delivery of complex engineering programsExperience delivering Commonwealth and Australian Defence Force projectsExcellent written and oral communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of ASDEFCON contractsFlexible and effective when adapting to changing priorities and complexity in a time-constrained environmentWhat it's like to work with Navantia Australia Navantia Australia is a key player in the Australian government's Naval Shipbuilding Plan, committed to growing Australia's shipbuilding and sustainment capability.
