About Us:We are a leading Australian insurance solution provider with Australia's leading insurance companies as our clients.Our core product is Axelerator - an innovative, modular, and fully flexible software platform designed from the ground up for rapid tailoring of bespoke insurance solutions.We have built our reputation on having the most innovative and adaptable software in the market.This opening is 100 percent remote in Australia or if you prefer Hybrid in either our Sydney or Melbourne Offices.Join our great team of 100+ in building leading edge solutions for our financial industry clients here and in the US.Job DescriptionThe Role:We are looking for a Business Analyst who can work with our insurance clients to help them define their requirements and work with project teams to deliver the best solution for their needs and budget.This role will suit someone who has performed a technical role in the past and is now focused on a career as a business analyst. Someone who likes to understand what the business wants and needs and then deliver.You will need to be comfortable interacting with a variety of personality types and have good communication skills, such as listening, empathizing, and problem-solving.This position will involve:Gathering and documenting requirements, both business and functional.Running workshops and demonstrations.Communicating the requirements to the solution architect and technical team.Working with the client to find a balance between functionality, usability, and technology.Tracking and setting clear client expectations on time, cost, and quality, as well as managing any associated risks.Desired Skills and ExperienceMust have skills and experience:At least 3 years' experience in capturing business and technical requirements.Experience working with clients to deliver web-based applications.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients at all levels.Logical mindset with the ability to drive a solution from start to end.Qualities that we are looking for:Pro-activeEnjoy working in a teamCan operate within the boundaries of the existing tools and frameworksSelf-motivated with a passion for technologyTakes ownership in area of responsibility for delivery and quality of their workConfident and energeticExperience with insurance systems - advantageousBackground in a technical role such as a developer or testerWhy work with Axe Group?Work with talented, experienced IT professionalsWork fully remote anywhere in Australia, or if you wish, come into our Sydney or Melbourne offices.We provide an employee assistance programVery generous employee referral schemeTraining and upskilling plansCulturally and gender diverseIf you think this role is the right fit for you, check out the website www.axegroup.com, follow us on LinkedIn, and we invite you to apply.Please send your resume in PDF format.To qualify for this role, you must currently live in Australia and have a full Australian work visa.
