Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled, accomplished, and enthusiastic Senior Fire Systems Testing Supervisor to put their stamp on how Fire System services are delivered to our clients.
What you will be doing You will have experience in undertaking testing of the following as per AS1851:
Performing comprehensive testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, and other fire safety measures as required by AS1851-2012 (Monthly, 6 monthly & Annual etc).
Conducting regular inspections and generating detailed reports to document the condition and functionality of fire protection systems.
Providing technical support and guidance to FPS staff, ensuring their full understanding of AS1851 requirements and best practices.
Participating in ongoing training and professional development of the testing team.
Troubleshooting and resolving any issues of essential fire measures as required.
Ability to use UPTICK.
Adhering to all WHS requirements for the company and each client site as directed.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work as part of a team and be customer-focused.
The role will require you to work autonomously in a high-volume environment.
What we are looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as a fire systems technician, with a strong understanding of AS1851, fire alarm systems, sprinklers, and other fire protection equipment.
Demonstrated expertise in testing, inspecting, and maintaining fire safety systems in compliance with relevant Australian Standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
Valid driver's licence.
Cert II or III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
White card.
Sprinkler Fitter Tradesman (Ideal).
